And now he's gone back to the Celtics and said, okay, we told you, here's the deal. Let's go. And so that makes perfect sense. And I like the player. and I think, you know, again, most championship teams in any sport, even the NBA, has guys like this.

I'm just surprised that once the market said, the market said, not only are you not worth

15 or 14, Marcus, you're not even worth 11 or 12.

No one wants you. And I just thought at that point, the sellers would use that to their advantage and the whole market would have reset even with them. So I'm surprised they're doing this. Yeah, I'm not surprised because, again, they have more at stake now. They're just a few million bucks. And if they win a championship, they'll make that back tenfold more. Well, you know, so to me, they've built something there. And like, why go to battle with one of your players just to stick it to them? Yeah, you say battle, I say business. So, you know, it's business. But what if they did last offseason? They couldn't come to agreement. The Celtics were where they were.

Smart was at another number.
