but done for the year with that knee injury that you first heard about here, really, from Maz, a couple weeks ago, about the problems with the knee and what was happening and the screws and all of that. It's really all come to fruition, and now he's done, Maz. What's your reaction? So, you know, not shocking given the news that was there at the

beginning. They went in there. They tried to take a more measured approach. They took the wire out.

We'll see what happens. It didn't get better. Now you've got to go in and get the screws.

And that's it. He's done. So what can you say? He is their franchise at the moment. He is what

it's all built on at the moment.

And so without him, making a run through the Eastern Conference, I don't think is realistic.

However, they can still win around.

And, you know, so now I, you know, I know that that is not exactly anything that's

going to whet anybody's appetite.

But there's an opportunity here in the short term for Jason Tatum, Jalen Brown, some of these young guys,

to go into a playoff atmosphere and have it on them.

And so maybe they'll gain out of it in the long term.

I personally, with regard to Kyrie, do not have significant long-term concerns about this specific injury.

This is based on the people you talked to who really gave you the story to begin with a

couple weeks ago.

So I think that ultimately it's going to heal.

The kneecap will be fun.

And he'll be ready at the start of next season.

But, you know, in terms of the short term, of course, massive blow.
