I went back on the web this morning and did my own search, and I stumbled upon a tool on MLB.com

that allows you to take a player's spray chart and put it over any ballpark in baseball.

Okay? Any ballpark in baseball, any ballpark in baseball.

So with J.D. Martinez, because my premise with J.D. Martinez is if he has the power to hit the ball out to the opposite field at Fenway Park with some regularity, then he's the guy

who can change a lineup. Okay, because again, and this is a simple premise, just bear with me for a second.

In baseball, you get lots of guys who can hit 300.

You get lots of guys who can hit home runs.

You have very few guys that can do both.

Okay, and those are the, for lack of a better comparison, the Manny Ramirez's of the world,

who if you throw them sliders away, can still hit the ball into the ball, into the bullpen at Fenway Park and hurt you that way. Mookie Betts can't do that as good a player as he is. So my question with J.D. Martinez is, is he the kind of guy that can take that pitch away and blast it into the bullpen?
