We've spent a lot of time on the Patriots here over the last couple of days.

Celtics lost again last night, 90 to 89 to the Miami Heat.

It hasn't been great.

Okay, so I know this is irritating you, Murray, from what it sounds like. Yeah, and that game last night, initially, I'll tell you right now, like I was out to dinner with my girl, and I was like, oh, we can kind of like half watch this one, because this is a shorthanded heat team that is basically going to be playing their bench all night.

Who else Johnson didn't play, who had the flu. Either way, they were short-handed last night, so this should have been an easy layup for this team. And then I think they went on like, and then when I really started paying attention, I was like, well, wait a minute, how's this getting close? oh it's the third quarter. They're going to have a bad third or quarter like they've had time and again here for like now seven or eight games.

The heat go on like a 26-13 run, and all of a sudden they have the lead, and they're in this game. It's like, what? What has happened? and I just, it seems like, and we're going to get to this Isaiah Thomas out in a second,

because Isaiah Thomas and his whining about the trade continues with pieces on the Players Tribune.

But there is something going on with these former Celtics, the pieces of the Bridges that Danny Aange shipped out.

They all feel like they have something to prove, I feel like, when they've come back in this building. Earlier in the season, Avery Bradley. And he was all over, Isaiah, I mean, a Korean slip, Kyrie Irving in that game, go. Jonas Jerebko to an extent. Last night, Kelly Olinick, the game of his life. 32 points, 12 or 15 from the floor. You know that Isaiah Thomas is licking his chops and getting ready for this game the first week of January. They already assigned him to the G League in Cleveland today, so he's going to be back for that game. They all get something approved. They all want to stick it up Danny's Keister. They all felt burned about this deal. I think that's pretty apparent when you, especially see a linic go off the way that he did last night. But besides that, that's the opposition. That's it. For the Celtics, that was inexcusable last night. That's the worst loss of the season. Again, no Winslow, no tragic, no Johnson, Dion Waders played with the flu, and they lose. That's pathetic.

The ball movement has gone, no, that is, it's non-existent now. It's too much Kyrie. Are you worried? No, I just, you know what it felt, you know what it's felt like? The last six or seven games to me, it's felt like the last couple of years. Like they're just, you know, with isaiah thomas too okay i know i knock him every once in a while but you can't rely on he the last couple of years and now kairi irving now in this little stretch where it's kind of looked ugly and there's no ball movement you can't rely on hero ball you can't rely on this guy to bail you what with 40 points a night. You have other guys that can put the ball in the hoop. Go to, go to Tatum, go to Brown.

The defense has kind of been really, really bad here for a few weeks. So, I don't know, it's just been maybe this is more of what they are rather than what they were during that streak. There's just some, there's some holes here. I think Brad Stevens is a good enough coach that he'll get everything under control.
