The first one was the worst. They're down three, two. They're on the power play, and he is all alone at the left post. He's got plenty of time to stop, hold the puck, let Anderson go down, pick a corner, get it up underneath the bar, and he one-times it right off the, cranks it right off the post. Got to finish that one. Got to finish that one. And then he has two more that, you know, one was an amazing save when they were down two, and the other one was still down one, a breakaway sent in for Marshan that Anderson gets just with the tip of his glove. And you got to finish one of those. You got to finish them. And so that's Craichachis misses, Pashtonax, misses.

Heinen, I think, hit a post all alone in the slot. Got to finish those chances. That's one. Two, and I talked about this a lot yesterday, as I thought the key to the game is what would Babcock do against Patrice Bergeron. It has to be some sort of adjustment, some sort of something. They got to take away time and space from Patrice Bergeron and that line.

How did they do it?

And he decided to do it with Thomas Placanic. Longtime Montreal Canadian, we know him well from all those years in Montreal. He's gotten you many, many times over the years. He was straight to Toronto at the middle of the year and he's basically done jack squat for the Leafs all season long,

but Babcock moves him up, plays him with Patrick Marlow and Marner,

and that Bergeron line, which was a plus 18 with five goals on the board in the first two games,

was held off the score sheet, no goals, no assist, and was a combined minus seven on the ice for two goals against

as a line.

So that adjustment worked.
