had six home runs, including one in the last game they faced him. OPS of over 1,400 against J.Hap. And so Jimmy actually has it. Jimmy, go ahead and play. If I don't start Pierce, I might get fired today, huh? Let's get at Bats against him. his out of ballpark, and that's the reason we got him. He's been put in quality of bats. Even before he got traded with the Blue Jays, not only against lefties, but also against righties. And he's been successful against Hap. We hit in third, see if he can get a few of bats off him, and look for a pitch in middle of his own, hit him in the air, and hopefully he can hit out of the ballpark. So Pierce does kill lefties, you know, and his matchup numbers with him. I'm not shocked by it as the point. Like, I'm not shocked. It's the first part of the comment, yes. Yeah, about the Dumbrovsky part of it. So, and I think this is. Explain to the people. So I think this is him saying, I might get fired. I think they probably had an organizational decision. And they said, before game one, let's start Pierce. You know, what do you think of that? And Cora looked at him and said, well, if I don't do it, you're going to fire me. You know, and that's what he's alluding to there. Yeah. That if we're up to core, he wouldn't. Yeah, and I think he cracks a joke about it in the press conference.

My guess is Dumbrovsky wants him in the lineup.
