Summary

The difficulties of life are easy to see when they're right in front of us. They're even easier to see when it's all that we're looking for.

I recently heard a podcast episode that shifted my entire perspective on how I view the difficult moments of life. After a season of much difficulty, a lot of complaining, and a lot of stress, I realized that I needed a perspective shift and a heart change. Life is really tough. It's such an interesting experience to walk through life; it's deeply sweet and beautiful but equally confusing and painful.

I believe that our faith and our minds shape the way that we live. I pray that this brief episode helps you to navigate the hard moments of life and want to leave you with the question, "Would you take away all of the hard if it meant that you also had to take away the good?"

The Living Easy Podcast will be taking a break after this episode so that I can focus on some family time and will be back in mid-June. We are, as always, praying that you will still be here when we get back!

0:04.4	This is Lindsay Myestus and I'm so thankful to have you here today.
0:08.9	I want to start by saying that I'm sorry to my listeners. I know that episodes have been relatively
0:15.8	inconsistent lately and I am fully aware of that. I have acknowledged and kind of
0:21.4	accepted that this is a season where there are a lot of things up in the
0:26.1	air in our lives, especially with our ministry and our business and our home life.
0:31.6	And there are areas where I just have to give and take a little bit and the
0:36.5	podcast has unfortunately been one of those things so I would like to say I am
0:41.5	actually going to be taking some time away from now.
0:46.8	This will be the last episode until about the middle of June.
0:51.0	And then we will come back full force and I'm really excited. We are working on
0:55.3	creating some options for video which is really exciting and Jesse's going to be coming on.
1:00.8	So we do have some really exciting trips coming up. My mom and my sister and
1:06.2	I are headed to England. We're kind of traveling through the majority of England and then we are also going to go through
1:14.3	Scotland so that is going to be really fun I'm very excited we leave in like two
1:18.9	weeks I feel wildly unprepared and so unprepared you guys I was just talking about it with my mom this
1:25.8	morning because she's in town right now we were on a walk and I told her I have not
1:31.0	even thought about it like we booked booked our hotels, booked our flights,
1:34.4	and it has essentially been out of my mind since then.
1:37.6	So I just busy life, but I am going to start planning and prepping and I have lots of real saved so I'm getting excited.
1:46.7	But that time and then we're going to visit family and my dad out in Colorado.
1:51.6	So there's just a lot that we're going to be doing and I want to really focus in on this family time and then come back fresh for y'all and become more consistent for you. But today is a really brief episode as I mentioned my family's in town and I have just
