Hey folks, Adam here.

I want to give this show a special intro since we're obviously in a special time. I like many of you, I'm hold up in my house right now.

I'm working from home. I got my dog here, got my partner Lisa, got my cup of tea, got my

my somewhat less professional podcast recording setup and I'm trying to make sense as best I can

of the COVID-19 pandemic that's changing all of our lives so drastically.

Now first of all I have to address this because people have been asking me what I think,

right? People are Adam we watch your show, your your most debunking things, or you going to debunk

this, you're going to talk about, oh, is the media just overhiping coronavirus and, you know,

is it causing a panic that we shouldn't be having? And I just want to tell you, so you hear it for me,

if that matters to you, no, I do not believe

that this pandemic is overhiked.

Every expert in medical science, in epidemiology, in communicable

diseases, these folks are telling us that we need to take drastic actions right

now to reduce the spread of the disease so that many, many more people don't

die and that's so we don't overflow the limitations of our health care system.

And so we're acting accordingly, working from home,

not getting together in large groups, not going to bars or restaurants,

staying inside as much as we can, going on jogs, but avoiding human contact as hard as that might be and I hope

that if you're in a position to be able to make those changes that you are considering

doing so yourself because it really can make a difference in this time.

And I also want to mention that there's a lot of folks out there who can't make those changes.
