0:05.0	So I think I was talking a little bit about this last night.
0:08.0	Um, our whole lives as teenagers or children when we're young, our parents tell us, you have to wait for the adults to, like, stop speaking to talk talk and you have to be quiet when the adults
0:23.3	are speaking and the children are silenced and put into the kids table because the adults don't
0:29.1	want to hear them talk which I understand kids are annoying sometimes but that made me kind of
0:34.8	feel like my opinion didn't matter and if I were to speak up that I didn't
0:38.4	have enough knowledge or information or evidence to actually make any point at all. So I would
0:45.3	kind of just stay quiet and not say anything because that's what I just figured would be best for
0:51.1	everyone. But recently, since I've become an adult, I've been to events with
0:58.0	adults and I can actually talk to them and they actually care what I'm saying. And it's a whole
1:03.2	different world and it feels really good to just know that like I said that and someone agreed
1:08.6	with me and someone actually respects my opinion or cares about my opinion.
1:13.3	And it's just like a whole new thing that I've never really experienced before.
1:17.2	And it feels really good to feel appreciated and feel like I'm in the conversation as well.
1:23.7	And I'm not just this young girl who doesn't know anything, which I still am a young girl
1:28.2	who doesn't know as much as these two. But I feel very included and happy to be in a conversation
1:35.6	with wise adults. So it just feels really good. You're in a big conversation right now because
1:42.1	there's a lot of people all over the world from every cultural background listening to what you have to say.
1:46.6	I know. I hope my opinion matters to everyone.
1:50.2	But a lot it will. Some it won't. It'll piss them off because they're just miserable and happy people.
1:56.9	The world's full of them.
1:58.6	It's just one opinion from one girl in one state, but there's billions of people in the world.
