0:11.0	I'm Tanya Wilmoth and right now we're in the book of Exodus. I was
0:16.1	getting off a plane at JFK on a rainy day and I pulled my jacket tighter as I
0:19.7	stepped outside with my friend to find our Uber or a car that was going to take a store
0:23.7	a hotel. But just in front of us was an older man and woman and they were
0:27.1	dressed head to toe, tropical prints, knee-high socks, comfort sandals, the
0:30.9	whole gear. Not only did they stand out in the weather, but their flamenco print shirts
0:35.8	stood out in the New York sidewalk where, you know, everyone tries to wear some combo of gray, beige,
0:40.3	or black. I wondered, are they just coming back from Anna Maria Island to their be a
0:43.7	black. I wondered are they just coming back from Anna Maria Island? Did their plan
0:45.1	get diverted? Are their plans changed? In a city where everyone tries, however
0:49.6	unsuccessfully, not to be a tourist, why are they dressed like that?
0:53.2	I wonder if that's sometimes how we feel about the church.
0:57.2	Like everyone knows we don't belong there or that we don't feel comfortable there
1:02.4	or like people are talking about us and don't belong there or that we don't feel comfortable there.
1:02.7	Or like people are talking about us and talking about how they think we don't belong.
1:08.2	I wonder if we feel like we're carrying around on our slaves that we're outsiders instead of
1:12.4	locals. Here's the good news I have for you today.
1:16.7	Well, two things. First, we're almost done with Exodus. It's been a long ride but a good one.
1:22.8	And second, Exodus actually ends on a pretty high note.
