trying to distract us and keep us from dealing with real issues that actually affect our kids,

like hunger, because what's more damaging to a kid's health and ability to learn? The gender

of one of their friends or going hungry.

So this week, I sat down with Admiral Rachel Levine, who works for the Department of Health

and Human Services. She's also America's first openly transgender four-star officer. Admiral

Levine has been doing some great work to protect kids and make sure that no students go hungry.

we'll be joined by Mark Jacobson and Ellie Agar with Hunger Free Colorado. I'm excited to hear more about their work on Colorado's ballot proposition for free school lunches. But before we get to all
