We set the stage for you last time around to finish off last week, previewing the first

significant recruiting event

under the watch of new head coach Matt Campbell, a junior day that took place on campus.

Last Saturday, we've had a ton of coverage over at Lions 247.com throughout the weekend into

this week, Tyler Calderuso, doing the heavy lifting on a lot of that.

And of course, Brian Doan, our national recruiting analysts that we're so lucky to have covering Penn State for the 24-7 Sports Network as well, chimed in with the tremendous amount of feedback into perspective from what took place at Penn State with a bunch of prospects in town. We're going to dive into that with Tyler Calveruso and just around the corner, There's another wave of visitors coming to campus. So we're going to get a lay-the-land. Who did Penn State make a strong impression on most recently? Who do they have the chance to do that with again in the coming days? And Tyler's going to help guide us through that. Next episode, I want to encourage you to stay tuned for that one. We're going to finish off the week in a couple

days. We'll bring Daniel Gowlin in for a conversation. He did a great job on Tuesday while I was

traveling. You may notice I got some green behind me. I'm not in Pennsylvania right now. I escaped the

great white north for a few days here for some family time to the south. But as I was traveling on

Tuesday, that announcement came out from the Big Ten. Penn State's schedule has been released in its entirety for the 2026 slate. We can go through that a little bit later this week. We'll go game by game. Talk about some of the key storylines. Daniel did a great job breaking things down at Lines 247.com. We're also going to get into some Penn State roster retention conversation on episode two this week.

But as I said, Tyler, I think I want to take an opportunity here to lay things out with recruiting.

The momentum is really starting to roll with this 2027 class.

We talked about how the 2026 class is near the end of the finish line picking up Elijah Reader and edge rusher last week,

still working through things

with wide receiver target, Samson Gash, as the February signing day comes.

But Tyler, this past weekend kind of showed it all.

That spotlight has largely landed on a group of high school juniors, several of them from

the state of Pennsylvania.
