What's going on everyone? My name is JC Chavez. I'm one of the hosts of the come up podcast. Now last week I shared my story of my come up. But this week we get to dive in and meet my co-host Jason Poston. I built this confidence that I could now engage with the white collar business owners, the CEOs, and that was my target demographic was like okay people with money. Where is this steel from these people? Now I'm going to their business, I'm gonna learn from them, I'm gonna train them at 5am, 6am, 7am and you know I'm gonna pick their brain for what I want to be in the future. My philosophy was I wasn't worthy because you're worthy to be in prestigious circles when you become prestigious. So you deserve special things when you start acting special. Because you don't, like you can't just walk in to a room full of CEOs saying, hey guys, I'm going to coach you to be better. Well, you better have been coaching yourself to be better for a little bit. So that's why I did have, I had a little bit of confidence issues, but I had been working on my fitness so much and I trained hard. I was training for events, I did challenges, the partying and the drinking had started to subside, it was very rare and I was just gungho, I want to be the best body and performance and physique that I can be.

And these people were gravitated towards it.

Cause I saw that, I saw that the most attracted or the most booked up trainers in the gym were also the most fit. Yeah. So that's not always the case, but I saw a couple guys that were just in incredible shape. So I said, man, I started working out harder. And next thing, you know, I caught those guys, and hang with them. You know, it wasn't as big and it wasn't, you know, I think a lot of them

run steroids and I was like scared of that, I think a lot of them run steroids.

And I was like scared of that. There's no way I was doing that. But performance wise, as a dude, I am competitive and I'm going to out train these guys. And so my workouts became better for myself and other people started to see that. You attract what you're putting out. Yep, and so just like a mirror I started to track top to your people and then people were looking at me right?

I'm only a year experienced and I'm completely booked up. I've got, you know, multi-millionaire clients and they're just referring all their partners and all their wives and all this and everything's going great. But so that's, you know, I had turned it all around really, really it was, it was fitness. I mean, and then this moment where I start to go back to church and I start to kind of, there was still this void that like, hey, man, I got money. I can pay my rent. I've got months in advance, you know, I've got like, I've got a car that's decent. I got, I can buy the food and the supplements and I'm living this fitness lifestyle on train people, I'm doing alright. I think I'd even reached like $100,000 which I was like $25, $26, I made $100,000 and I don't even know if there's many men in my family that even done that. And back then that was good. But there's this void and this emptiness and so that's when I met a pastor at Lifetime. You know, that's really awesome that Jason shared his story. And you know, every come up requires change and it's difficult to make that change. But every Tuesday we're gonna dive in with a brand new episode of the come up podcast. We want you to join us everywhere podcasts are available and you can also watch it on Spotify as well.
