They're not being clear, though, how I'm going to get my money back. Here's the thing. If FedEx or any other big company wants a massive tariff refund, they need to be clear about

how everyday Americans who largely paid for the costs are actually going to see the money

that's returned.

FedEx filed a lawsuit after the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump tariffs were illegal,

and now they're asking a federal

trade court to refund tariffs that were paid back to them. Could mean hundreds of billions

of dollars. But where's my money? Yeah, let's walk through this from the beginning here. So

Trump raises tariffs. And everybody says, well, you know, the American people are just

going to pay that because the tariffs are technically paid by the importing company. So when

a company imports something from overseas, Trump puts a tariff on it. The importing company

here in the United States has to pay that tariff. And then we were told, of course, that the

company is just going to pass those costs on

by raising prices on the products and services they sell. So ultimately, higher prices for us,

the American consumer, because of this tariff. Now, FedEx is going to the federal government

saying, hey, we want all our money back that we paid in those tariffs.

And as a consumer, I'm like, hey, FedEx.

We paid.

Who could I sue to get my money back?

Because you told me that you were just going to pass those costs along to me for higher prices,

what you charge me.

But now where am I going to get my money back? So this is potentially FedEx and other companies that are fighting to get the tariff money back double-dipping on us.
