thousands of federal workers to send an email explaining what they did at their job last week.

Think about what these workers have gone through

in just the past three days. On Saturday, most of their day off, they got these emails and found out

that not responding would be considered their resignation. Some agency leaders told their workers to

reply while others told their teams ignore the email. And just hours before the deadline, HR representatives across the government were told the email
