Federal regulators are looking into Goldman Sachs role in Silicon Valley banks final days.

We exclusively report that the Federal Reserve and the Securities and Exchange Commission are

investigating Goldman Sachs's role in buying Silicon Valley banks securities portfolio. While

it was working on its doomed capital raise before the banks failure, that's according to

people familiar with the matter. Some of them said that the Justice Department has also

subpoenaed Goldman as part of its investigation into SVB. The people said the Fed and the SEC

are seeking documents related to Goldman's role as both buyer of the securities portfolio and

advisor on the capital raise for SVB. Goldman said it is cooperating with the investigations.

The Supreme Court is considering whether to take up a case focusing on a key question.
