Hello and welcome to today's independent travel podcast with me Simon Calder and it is an

0:09.4

edition that I am so excited about because I'm with one of my favourite people, Alistair Gunn,

0:16.5

and what we are talking about is air museums and plain graveyards.

0:23.3

So, Alistair is the absolute wizard when it comes to air museums.

1:37.4

That's marvellous. So presumably you will be able to tell me where I can see one of these

1:43.2

ancient creatures.

1:45.7

Absolutely, and indeed in the UK, there's one in Norfolk at the city of Norwich Aviation Museum,

1:54.5

which is actually out near Norwich Airport.

1:59.0

There's a full Air UK one there.

2:01.4

And indeed, Colin, my husband and myself, had a little tour through there.

2:06.9

You'll find with a lot of these aviation museums, if you do a little bit of planning in advance,

2:11.4

and if you've got a particular interest in a particular type of aircraft,
