Hi, friends. I am Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four

books in the New Testament and the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories

of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the

miracles. We'll read three chapters a day, usually in finish in 30 days every other month,

but this month, because it's February, will be a little different, we'll finish in 28

days. So a few days we will read a little extra, but every month we will read all four

reading from the English standard version and we are working our way through the book

of Matthew, almost done, and then we'll do Mark and then Luke and then John. If you would

go today. I'll read three chapters to you. You can listen or read along in your own

Bible, and then I'll pray. And that's it. So today is February 8th, day 8, and I'll be

reading Matthew, chapters 23 through 25, and the translation I'm reading from this month

is the ESV. Matthew 23, then Jesus said to the crowd, and his disciples, the scribes

and the Pharisees sit on Moses's seat. So do and observe whatever they tell you, but
