Hi friends. I am Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. Each month we get to read all four books. So go ahead, subscribe today.

Join us as we read the

Gospels together. Now, normally, y'all know we read three chapters a day to get through

the whole four books in 30 days. But this month is a little different. We are mixing it up and

reading the Gospels chronologically from the new international version or the NIV. So we read

stories in the order in which they took place,

usually getting something from all four books.

So I'll share the references with you here at the beginning,

and you can find them in the show notes as well.

You can listen or read along in your own Bible, and then I'll pray, and that's it.

Matthew 7, 1 through 6, Luke 6, 37 through 42, Matthew 7, 7 through 20, Luke 6, 43 through 45, Matthew 7, 21 to 29, Luke 6, 46 to 49, Matthew 8, 5 through 13, Luke 7, 1 through 17, Matthew 11, 1 through 19, and Luke 7, 18 through 35.

Don't condemn others from Matthew. Do not judge or you too will be judged, for in the same way you judge others,

you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the

speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

How can you say to your brother, let me take the speck out of your eye when all the time there is a plank in your own eye.

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Do not give dogs what is sacred.

Do not throw your pearls to pigs.

If you do, they may trample them under their feet and turn and tear you to pieces.

From Luke, do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned.
