Here is what's driving the day. Since early yesterday afternoon, Senate Democrats have embarked on a marathon session to protest Russell votes impending confirmation as head of the Office of Management and Budget.

Right now, that final vote looks like it will happen a bit after 7 p.m. today.

But in the meantime, they'll invade against the nomination of vote, who they see as one of the architects of the Project 2025 agenda,
