You know a wonderful thing about God that people don't think about or realize, or maybe that's just me, maybe you do, but like back in the day in ancient times, the common way to deal with people

with disabilities was to leave them exposed when they were born, leave them out in the woods,

let the gods decide what to do with this child. People were very disposable if they had any

kind of weakness or vulnerability. They were left behind. And honestly, our

culture still practices that in different ways. But what I love about God is he comes along, and this is

in ancient times. And he says, I demand you don't do that. I have their backs.

I'm the Lord.

You do not put a stumbling block in front of a blind person.

You do not cause a problem for somebody who's deaf.

People with disabilities, I identify with them.

I just love that.

And that's an ancient text.

And at the time, nobody thought that way.

But here's God saying, no, I identify.

These are my people.

Vulnerable people, I look out for them.

So if you mess with them, you're messing with me.
