In North Carolina, an elderly gentleman called 911 and reported that he had shot his wife to death at their home.

In New Jersey, police responded to a high-end apartment complex and found a man and his pet cat, dead.

The victim's brother then sat alongside the bodies until police arrived.

Buffalo Road in Archer Lodge, North Carolina. They were responding to the house after a man called in
