Hi friends, I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books

of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ's

life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. We've been

reading about three chapters a day to finish in 30 days and every month this year we're going to

read all four books but obviously February is a little bit different and we're going to finish

in 28 days. So a few days we have to read a little extra like today we get to read four chapters

and that reading plan because since we're reading in chronological order it is a wild ride you

guys as a wild ride we just squish all four books together and then chop them up it's going to be

today. Today is four chapters and then we'll finish tomorrow with three chapters. So today is February

27th day 27 and I'll be reading John chapters 15 through 18 and the translation I'm reading from

this month is the ESV. John 15 I am the true vine and my father is the vine dresser every branch

and me that does not bear fruit he takes away and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes that

it may bear more fruit already you are clean because of the word that I've spoken to you abide

in me and I and you as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine neither

can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine you are the branches whoever abides in me and I

in him he it is that bears much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing if anyone does not abide

in me here's thrown away like a branch and withers and the branches are gathered thrown into

the fire and burned if you abide in me and my words abide in you ask whatever you wish and it

will be done for you by this my father is glorified that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my

disciples as the father has loved me so I have loved you abide in my love if you keep my commandments
