cabinet meeting of this administration, President Trump previews further slashes to the federal

workforce. The House narrowly passes a major budget plan, including large cuts to taxes and

spending. We speak with the House Budget Committee Chairman.

And the Trump administration deports migrants to a Latin American stopover, regardless of their

country of origin.

They may be violations of U.S. law, especially with respect to people who have expressed

fear of being returned.

At the White House today, President Donald Trump convened the very first cabinet meeting of his second administration.

In an hour-plus Q&A with reporters, Mr. Trump did most of the talking, and there was one figure there who didn't have a physical seat at the table, but whose influence was undeniable.
