Last time we talked to Richard Dolan, who, by the way, is the author of UFOs in the National Security State Volume 1,

he was working on a Volume 2, which may become a Volume 2 and a Volume 3.

So, before we get on, tell us what's the status of the book, the new editions.

Yes, hi, hi, Gene, and hello, David.

Actually, on my screen right in front of me, I'm looking at the final chapter of volume two

of UFOs in a national security state.

I'm finishing it.

I think if we were to have this conversation one month from

today, I would be telling you that it's finished. So the book is a, my estimate's about 600 pages

when I include the all the end notes and index, which I haven't yet done the index.

And it's been a long, long, long journey.

Let me just say, this book covers the years 1973 up until the end of the Cold War, 1991.

It is as thorough an analysis of the UFO phenomenon in cover-up as I could possibly do during that period of time.

Once this book is done, I expect to just move straight into the third and final volume of this study, which will take the story from 1992 to the present day.

Fortunately, all of my research, or let's say 98, 99% of my research is done.

And so I won't have to go through a huge research period on that.

And yeah, but it's been a really long journey.

I'm very happy with it.

Just last night I finished another section on Soviet UFO encounters in 1990 and 91.

I'm quite happy with that.

As that nation spiraled into its own non-existence, what we find is that they had a massive outbreak of UFO sightings
