Summary

Gene and Chris present Peter Davenport, director of the National UFO Reporting Center, to join us for a UFO update. According to Davenport, "One of the issues I would like to discuss is the wild proliferation of sightings of clusters of red, orange, and yellow fireballs. It appears to be the most important facet to the current status of Ufology, and I strongly suspect that the overwhelming majority of those reports do not involve so-called 'Chinese' lanterns." Davenport will also discuss his ongoing plans to develop a UFO detection system using "passive" radar. First proposed 22 years ago, Davenport suggests that recent advancements in personal computer technology make the plans more feasible than ever.

As I continue on the mend with Gene and Chris,

0:35.9

we're going to have a fascinating discussion

0:38.5

where we go, I guess, back to the traditional look at the UFO field.

0:43.8

We'll get into that in a moment.

0:45.4

Now, as you know, no matter of what happens in this world, there has to be a conspiracy theory

0:50.7

about it.

0:52.0

So what's the latest?

0:53.0

Well, the death of Justice Scalia. A conspiracy theory? Well, didn't the guy die of a heart attack or something? And there's some crazy things about it. So, for example, he was pronounced dead at this place in Texas by a justice of the peace who actually never saw the body. So the only people who

1:12.2

actually saw the body, I guess at first after he was discovered, were the U.S. Marshals. Is that

1:17.9

enough for a conspiracy theory, Chris? Uh, I don't know. It seems a little hinky. You know,

1:23.4

he wasn't very well liked by quite a few people.

1:28.1

And, you know, what can you say?

1:31.0

I mean, the guy, you know, had been on the court since 85.

1:37.1

He was 79.

1:39.3

There were reports that when they found him, there was a pillow on his face.

1:45.8

So he seemed to be in good health the night before, good spirits. He did have some health problems. But the family doesn't want

1:53.7

an autopsy. So, you know, I don't know, go figure. Well, I assume a sheriff's department can

2:00.1

order an autopsy no matter what the family

2:02.7

thinks. That's the first thing. If there's any possible evidence of foul play, but right now the

only questions being asked, I guess, are by controversial talk show host Michael Savage,
