These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. Each month we get to read all four books. So go ahead, subscribe today.

Join us as we read the

Gospels together. Now, normally, y'all know we read three chapters a day to get through

the whole four books in 30 days. But this month is a little different. We are mixing it up and

reading the Gospels chronologically from the new international version or the NIV. So we read

stories in the order in which they took place, usually getting something from the new international version or the NIV. So we read stories in the order in which they took place, usually getting something from all four books.

So I'll share the references with you here at the beginning and you can find them in the show notes as well.

Mary visits Elizabeth from Luke.

At that time, Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea,

where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth.

When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with

the Holy Spirit.

And a loud voice, she exclaimed, blessed are you among women?

And blessed is the child you will bear.

But why am I so favored that the mother of my

Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb

leaped for joy. Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.
