Thank you. 18th, 1949. Mary Ridgeway gave birth to her second son, Gary, as the brisk winter morning dawned in Salt Lake City.

It was the perfect day to bring a new baby into the world. Mary was confident that she'd bring up Gary in a household bound by strict rules and discipline.
