Summary

Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night! At the moment we’re in between seasons here on the show. But while we’re waiting for our next official season to begin, we thought this would be a great time to pull some of our favorite episodes out of the Girls Night archive. This is the perfect time to catch up on episodes you might have missed, or listen again to old favorites. In today’s episode, I’m chatting with my sweet friend, Robin Long, who actually joined us all the way back in the second episode of Girls Night. Robin is a pilates instructor and the creator of an online community called Lindywell (previously called The Balanced Life) where she provides quick and efficient online workouts for busy women. Robin is passionate about empowering women to feel good in their own skin, and that’s exactly what she does! Today, we’re talking about how to be consistent in your health journey. I think a lot of us have big ambitions when it comes to our health and fitness goals, especially at the beginning of the new year, but then lose momentum a few months or even a few weeks in! Robin’s going to share practical, and actually doable, tips that have helped her stay committed to her health for years now, and she’s going to teach us how we can do the same. If you’re feeling a bit lost or frustrated in your health journey, whether it’s with food or fitness or both, please know you’re not alone! I’ve actually been feeling the exact same way lately. And that’s why I was so excited to talk to Robin. I left this conversation feeling so refreshed, motivated, and like I can ACTUALLY do this, and I know you’ll feel the same. Life is so much better and easier and absolutely more fun when we navigate together as

0:28.5

girlfriends and I cannot wait to get started. So at the moment we are in between seasons here

on the show. But while we're waiting for our next official season to begin, we thought that

0:38.0

this would be a great time to pull some of our favorite episodes out of the Girls Night Archive.

0:42.9

This is a great time to catch up on episodes you might have missed throughout the years or to

0:46.9

listen to old favorites all over again. Our guests are incredible. I know that I learned something

0:52.1

new each time I listened to an episode, even if it's one I've heard a million times before.

0:57.5

Okay, now without any further ado, let's dive into the episode.

1:05.6

Before we dive into the episode, there's something super fun I wanted to share with you.

1:09.9

Now there is nothing I love more than a Girls Trip. Friendship plus travel, is there anything

1:14.4

better? Nothing leaves me feeling more inspired, more rested, or more like my very best self

1:19.9

than an adventure with my best girls. It's truly my favorite form of self-care.

1:24.6

I was meeting up with my three best friends at a lake in Minnesota this last summer when we

1:28.6

decided that we needed matching Girls Trip shirts. Wanted? No, needed? Absolutely.

1:34.8

The problem was we couldn't find anything we liked. We couldn't find anything that was our style,

1:39.3

first of all. And then many of the shirts we did find had phrases we just really didn't resonate with.

1:44.8

We ended up buying some shirts that none of us were particularly excited about, but they worked

1:48.4

for a photo or two. And it was while I was on that trip, wearing that t-shirt that I had an idea.
