My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

My Immaculate Mother, St. Joseph, my Father and Lord, my guardian angel, intercede for me.

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, a reading from the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 1.

The angel Gabriel said to Mary, Hail full of grace, the Lord is with you. Do not be afraid, Mary,

for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your room and bear a son,

and he shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.

And the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over

the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.

The dogma of the Emanical Conception was proclaimed by Blessed Pius the 9th in 1854.

Four years later, Our Lady appeared in Lords to a 14-year-old girl named Bernadette.

Our Lady asked for a chapel to be built, but Father Pai Romilly, the local parish priest,

insisted that the lady would have to reveal her name before doing anything.

On March 25th, the Feast of the Annunciation,

during the apparition,

Bernadette asked the lady her name,

and after joining her hands at the breast,

and looking up to heaven, she said,

I am the immaculate conception.
