Summary

Today on the St. Josemaria Institute Podcast we bring you a meditation by Fr. Javier del Castillo on the Holy Archangels—St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael. 1:02.0	Today we celebrate the Feast of the Archangels, and in a little while on October 2nd, in a few days we will celebrate the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels.
1:16.6	In the first reading, or one of the options of the first reading of today's Mass, we read these words from the book of Revelation.
1:30.3	And there was a battle in heaven.
1:32.3	Michael and his angels battled with the dragon.
1:36.3	And the dragon fought in his angels.
1:39.3	And they did not prevail.
1:41.3	Neither was their place found any more in heaven.
1:46.0	And that great dragon was cast down the ancient serpent,
1:50.1	he who is called the devil and Satan, who leads astray the whole world.
1:57.4	Here in today's first reading, we see how St. Michael, the archangel, is, has a task in heaven,
2:10.2	and how he is the prince of heaven, expelling the demon out.
