I'm here in my backyard for day two of our brave campfire revivals.

There's something about the spirit of a campfire, isn't there,

where you can gather

around with friends and with family, and particularly if you are tapped into the source of

universal wisdom from heaven through the Word of God, proved by history, you can tackle any

problem in the present and plan for the future.

In fact, that's what we're talking often about at the American Campfire Revival,

is a lens through which we can look at the past to help us forge our way into tomorrow

for our children and our children's children.

We can't be there with our great-great-great-grandchildren,

but we can help lay out the path for them

so that they can learn from the lessons that we have learned,

they can learn from our mistakes

because we've learned from those who have come before us.

Perhaps nothing more important than you and I praying together and asking God for wisdom

because he says in his word that apart from him, we can do nothing.

If we look within ourselves to discover truth, wisdom, identity, purpose, destiny, meaning, or morality, we will fail epically.

But God in his kindness has broken into our world with his external, absolute,

authoritative, and sufficient truth and power to help set us on the right path that leads to
