talking dead number 392 recorded on Monday the 10th of September 2018 and you may

have noticed something different off the top there I don't know if you were paying attention Jason yes I was paying attention and I did

notice all right we we have some new opening theme music we do I like it it. It's familiar because the voiceover is the same but the background track is different. So

Why you may ask is it new?

Why is it new Chris? is it new, Chris?

Well, the answer to that question is probably long and drawn out,

but the short version is,

we were thinking,

Jason and I, you and I were talking recently, and we were thinking, thinking, Jason and I, you and I were talking recently and we were thinking that it might be time for a change for the opening music of the podcast.

Yeah, and I think that now is the time for the time for a change.

So we considered waiting until the main show came back and starting the new intro music

right off with season 9 episode 1.

But I also thought that it would be better to maybe ease into it a little bit,

get it going as fear is winding down, let everyone get used to it for a minute, and I know change

is hard.

It's hard for me, it's hard for both of us. We use the old one for

eight years or something like that and grew very attached to it. But... I have no problem with

change. Oh you don't? No, I don't. Okay Okay well I was very attached to it. I thought it was great and I and I didn't want to change at first but once I started looking around for something different and I came across this track.

I thought it worked quite well.

So we went with it, we talked about it some more, we had a slap fight as we generally do when

we're making decisions.
