All right, today we're looking at Proverbs chapter 30 verses 7 through 9.

And this is an interesting request, an interesting prayer request, speaking of prayer, that this

guy, Agor, makes to the Lord.

Let's read it.

It says two things I ask of you.

Deny them not to me before I die.

Remove far from me falsehood in lying, and give me neither poverty nor riches.

Feed me with a food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you, and say, who's

the Lord, or lest I be poor and steel, and profane the name of my God?

Now isn't there an interesting prayer request compared to the kinds of things we often hear

people praying for?

And we pray for riches, success in our business, health, all those things, nothing bad about

any of those.
