Good to see you. It is a disturbing day.

I know we spoke yesterday around this story as we awaited for the release of phase one of the Southport report.

It pulls no punches, really. It's incredibly diligently

put together by the chair of the inquiry. But it may, I mean, to say it makes for disturbing

reading, mostly because there wasn't just one but many opportunities that are could

have stopped this man, this kid,

from carrying out this horrific attack.

This monster, and he was described as a monster yesterday,

and that's a very, very apt and accurate description of him.

But let's just travel 118 miles south of Southport, shall we, to Nottingham, because there is an ongoing inquiry in Nottingham into the activities, the murderous activities of Valdow Calacaine, who murdered three people, Ian Coates, Barney Weber, Grace O'Malley Kumar, and left others with

lifelong injuries. And there are going to be sickening, shocking, but also not surprising

similarities. We have public services now who are in the grip of a real woke mindset, which they have to break free from.

Now, of course, Sir Adrian Fulford didn't use the word woke yesterday.

It's my choice of word, and it's very deliberate.

They are in the grip of this mindset

whereby if they just tick a box,

take the path of least resistance,

and move on,
