Well, good evening and welcome. Sorry for the late start. On Thursday nights, we're going through

the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. And we're currently in

this amazing book of Isaiah. Tonight, Lord willing, we are going to complete two chapters,

chapter 43 and 44, really looking forward to what the Lord has for us.

I know I say that every week, but that's because every week we look forward to what the Lord

has for us in His Word, and tonight is certainly no exception.

So before we get started, why don't we pray and we'll ask God to bless our time together

in His Word, if you would please join with me.

Father in heaven, thank you so, so much for your word for this time that we have on Thursday

nights to come together as a church body and just put aside all the stress of our busy

and full lives and especially with everything that's going on right now, especially with all

of those that are on a bed of sickness right now. Lord we pray your blessing on our time because we want to approach you.

This is our posture before you tonight, Lord.

We want to approach you and posture ourselves before you as a people who are desperate and hungry and thirsty

and as we're going to see here in our study in Isaiah, knowing that you alone are the one

who can satiate that thirst and that hunger that we have, that need

in our souls as we just got done singing, Lord, we need you right now. We need you,

Lord, we need you. So Lord, would you tonight as only you can minister to us in and through your word, speak into

our lives, Lord, I know many are here tonight and watching online and just desperate for you

to hear you speak in that still small, refining voice of the Holy Spirit, Lord.

Lord please, would you do that for us?
