So I want to dive into our relationship with fear today because many of the fears that we

experience can often act as signs on the journey to our own personal growth and our self-discovery.

I think many of us regard fear as this negative emotion to always be avoided.

But when properly understood, fear can actually reveal important truths about ourselves,

our values, and our potential. Fear can identify an area of ourselves that requires growth.

Let me ask you a question. You ever step into a room full of people you've never met before

and then fear just crawls down your spine, social anxiety rising. Now you're quickly looking for

a corner or a bathroom to hide or collect your stuff or maybe you're hiding on the phone.

Have you ever, I'm guilty of this. Have you ever been at a party? New space, you don't know nobody

and you're so uncomfortable so you just like get on the phone and pretend you're talking to somebody.

I have. But that's the fear, right? The social anxiety is that like the tip of our mind.

And although this is a negative experience, right? It doesn't feel good. It is a sign as well.

It's an area in our development that needs some cultivation. It might be public speaking.

It might be learning small talk, building new relationships,

being comfortable within our own energy in a room full of other people.

Socializing is a muscle. That fear, that discomfort may signify, hey, we need to socialize

it a little bit more. Some of us assume that we're not the social type, but we don't socialize

that much. You know, it is a muscle. I've learned in my life the more I socialize the more I get

better at it. And it, and different, like I still have to master certain spaces, right? Like one

on one or small groups, I'm amazing, but you know, if I step into like a massive event and like

does a lot of people, then I'm like, well, what am I doing? Especially if I don't know nobody.

So socializing is a muscle. And simply by recognizing what we fear, now we can identify the area where
