What's News, the top headlines and business stories that moved the world today. A blistering report on the culture of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp or

FDIC found sexual harassment, bullying, and discrimination have long

pervaded at the agency, with perpetrators often receiving reassignments or

even promotions. The report by law firm Cleary Gottlieb, Stein, and Hamilton was commissioned by the bank

regulator after a Wall Street Journal investigation in November revealed a toxic workplace

culture at the FDIC.

Investigators also confirmed that multiple employees experienced

extremely difficult and volatile interactions with the agency's

chairman Martin Grunberg, a Democrat who has spent nearly two decades at the FDIC.

The report didn't make a recommendation as to whether he and other senior leaders should face

discipline or removal, which was outside investigator's scope.
