Summary

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (06/07/2023):

3:05pm- According to a report from the New York Times, New York City’s air quality has hit its worst level on record as a result of smoke plumes generated from Canadian wildfires. Mike Ives and Liam Stack report, “Gov. Kathy Hochul called the worsening air quality in New York ‘an emergency crisis,’ warning it could last several days: ‘People have to prepare for this over the long haul.’” You can read the full article: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2023/06/07/us/canada-wildfires-air-quality-smoke

3:15pm- In the aftermath of the Canadian wildfires, members of the left have blamed the low air quality on climate change. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used the occasion to push the Green New Deal.

3:40pm- Moms for Liberty—a Florida-based non-profit whose mission is to empower parents by emphasizing parental rights in education—has outlandishly been labeled as an “extremist” group by the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center.

4:05pm- A. Benjamin Mannes— Expert in Security and Criminal Justice Reform—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest article at Broad + Liberty, “Can Cities Rebound from Lawlessness to Culture of Responsibility and Compliance?” You can read the full article here: https://broadandliberty.com/2023/06/07/ben-mannes-can-cities-rebound-from-lawlessness-to-cultures-of-responsibility-and-compliance/

4:25pm- In his most recent investigative report, Aaron Maté—journalist at RealClearInvestigation & The Gray Zone—documents how the Federal Bureau of Investigation has helped Ukraine censor Twitter accounts. Interestingly, one of the journalists targeted was Maté himself. He writes, “The FBI’s attempt to ban Twitter accounts at the request of Ukrainian intelligence is among the most overt requests for censorship revealed to date in the Twitter Files, a cache of leaked communications from the social media giant.” You can read the full article here: https://thegrayzone.com/2023/06/07/fbi-ukraine-twitter-users-including-journalists/

4:40pm- Rich takes calls for the first time in months! Caller Earl from Tacony sings an unforgettable song blaming Canada for the poor air quality in Philadelphia…PLUS Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) spoke from the House floor “honoring the one and only queen of drag—RuPaul” for Pride month.

4:50pm- The Philadelphia Phillies have postponed their game with the Detroit Tigers—citing poor air quality stemming from the Canadian wildfires.

5:05pm- The Drive at 5: Dr. Wilfred Reilly—Professor of Political Science at Kentucky State University & Author of “Hate Crime Hoax: How the Left is Selling a Fake Race War”—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss an excerpt from Elliot Page’s new book where the actor claims to have been verbally attacked by a “transphobe” while in Los Angeles in 2022. Did the event really happen? Or, as online skeptics have suggested, is this Jessie Smollett 2.0? You can pre-order Dr. Reilly’s next book here: https://www.amazon.com/Lies-My-Liberal-Teacher-Told-ebook/dp/B0BDZMZJ4C?ref_=ast_author_dp

5:35pm- On Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke to the press addressing the wildfires in Canada that have impacted air quality in the United States. Trudeau seemingly blamed climate change for the wildfires, stating: “extreme weather events have increased in their intensity.”

5:50pm- Baba Vanga—a blind Bulgarian mystic—predicted that, in 2023, the Earth will be ravaged by a nuclear meltdown and that a global superpower will use biological weapons. Baba Vanga’s predictions have, historically, been over 60% accurate according to some reports. So, why did Matt put the doomsday story in the “light” section of Rich’s show sheet?

6:05pm- 2024 Presidential Race: On Wednesday, former Vice President Mike Pence formally announced his candidacy for president. Meanwhile, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum announced his intention to run for president via an editorial published in the Wall Street Journal.

6:10pm- On Tuesday night, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie officially announced he’s running for President of the United States—using his platform to attack Donald Trump. During the announcement, Christie referred to Trump as “a lonely, self-consumed, self-serving mirror hog.” Though few believe Christie can win the Republican nomination, many in the media believe he may be able to “land a punch” on Trump and impact his candidacy.

6:25pm- On the first day of his presidential campaign, Chris Christie did an impression of Republican rival Donald Trump—calling him a liar for saying he would build a wall at the U.S. Southern border with Mexico paying for it.

6:35pm- Will Chris Christie even make the debate stage in August? He’ll need to poll at 1% and receive 40,000 individual donations.

6:40pm- While speaking from the floor of the Senate, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said of the Canadian wildfires: “This smoke and fog over New York and the rest of the Northeast is a warning from nature” and that we must “reverse the destruction of climate change.”

6:45pm- Tucker Carlson’s new show made its premiere on Twitter Tuesday night with “Tucker on Twitter”—where he spoke out against classified documents saying, “no one knows what’s happening…a small group of people control access to all relevant information and the rest of us don’t know.”

The smog and the dust out there from the Canadian wildfires, more people enter the race for President of the United States of America. Yes, Chris Christie, Mike Pence, a virtual rogues gallery of former Trump loyalists. Good afternoon, welcome to the show. Glad you're here today, 855-839-1210, and on Twitter at Rich Ziole. Thanks for being here today. It's a busy, busy afternoon, as it always is.

1:00.0

We'll get into that a little bit. He also broke out an impression of Donald Trump last night, which was a little bit cringeworthy to say the least. Just a tad cringeworthy. No question about it. And on the national front, the White House is still blaming Ukraine for who blew up the Nord Stream to pipeline. And yet, it's so funny that they're doing this at the very same time that they assured us. They assured us that it was impossible.

1:30.0

But anybody could blow up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. And now suddenly, it seems to be Ukraine that did it. Probably with our taxpayer dollars, I'm up by this. I think we did it, and we need an investigation. That's what we need.

1:42.0

Now, in the wake of these fires that are raging right now, and maybe you're dealing with this, maybe you're seeing it. Kids practices are getting canceled. Schools are not letting kids go outside and play.

1:53.0

There's an unhealthy air alert that goes from Ottawa, Burlington, Rochester, the upper upstate New York, down to Washington, and our areas encompass in this as well. Some parts of that are actually they're saying severe unhealthy.

2:09.0

Like, don't even breathe. Just get a breathing machine. But for where we are, they say it's unhealthy. If you're exposed for long periods of time, and if you're a child, I don't know. I had lunch outside today. And I was fine. I mean,

2:21.0

I was a little bit annoying because I have allergies, but I didn't drop dead or anything. And I saw some people playing golf, so I don't know. But this is going to continue a little bit, maybe till tomorrow, or possibly the day after, as the dense veil of smoke blankets in northeast skies.

2:38.0

The one thing that I do know, though, as much as this might be interfering with your day today, since our part of the country right now seems to be kind of ground zero for this, it's really not climate change. It's just wildfires.

2:51.0

I mean, wildfires burn, fires burn in forest. It's how forest clear themselves. And this has been going on since the dawn of forest. I mean, it just happens.

3:01.0

And yet, immediately, the usual suspects like Alexandria, Acacia Cortez and others come out and start screaming about climate change.

3:10.0

Manchild Justin Trudeau starts screaming about climate change. Yes, they're all doing it, you know. They're all doing it because, well, I mean, it's a great opportunity.

3:18.0

Anytime there's a storm, anytime there's anything they can blame on climate change, they're going to do it. They're, of course, they're going to do it. Why wouldn't they do it?

3:27.0

There's nothing that you can point to that says, this is because of climate change. But again, that's not, that's the point. You don't have to prove it because how can you disprove it?

3:36.0

You can't. So whatever they tell you, you can't disprove it. I mean, COVID lab leak theory. They go, it's from a wet market. It came from an undercooked bat burger.

3:47.0

No, it didn't. Well, then prove I'm wrong. Well, I can't get into the lab. How can I know exactly so that I might as well be right.

3:54.0

And they do this all the time. And whenever there is a convenient excuse to turn around and blame climate change for something, East Coast choking in the skies, unhealthy, the worst air quality right now, Scranton, Pennsylvania, it's hazardous.

4:08.0

Allentown, PA, a little bit north of us right now, New York City, it's hazardous. Although a New York City, the plus side is in New York City, the air is so dense right now, you can't see people mug you. So there's that.

4:21.0

You know, as they're mugging you in the dense fog, you don't even see it. It looks like something out of a Batman movie. So you just feel better after they've taken all your stuff. It's kind of nice in that respect. In Philadelphia, they don't want to, they can't carjack anymore today because every car looks like a junker

4:37.0

because it's all covered in dust. So they don't even know what the good cars anymore. So they've actually taken a day off from carjacking.

4:43.0

All right, well, that's not true. Of course there, I mean, nothing's going to stop them from carjacking obviously. But yeah, very hazardous air and all around us, but climate change.

4:52.0

And then they go, well, it's it's unhealthier in the cities because there's not as many trees. Right. Yeah, and that makes sense. It's it. Yes. Okay, but it's also not as bad as being surrounded by trees in a foresting
