Tonight on 360, new evidence in the murder of Charlie Kirk and new reporting that his alleged

killer may have confessed online. Also tonight, a blockbuster investigation on a deal involving

The man charged with murdering Charlie Kirk makes his first court appearance tomorrow.

Tonight, the Washington Post is reporting that Tyler Robinson appear to confess online in a

group chat shortly before turning himself in.

The post, citing two people familiar with the chat and screenshots they obtained, says that

Robinson told the chat, quote, Hey guys, I had bad news for you all.

It was me at UVU yesterday.

I'm sorry for all of this.

Also today, FBI Director Cash Patel said there's physical

evidence tying Robinson to a pair of items, one found with a rifle and another on the rooftop

from where Kirk was apparently shot. I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel

that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively

processed for the suspect in custody.

Well, in addition, Director Patel said the suspect left what he called a note prior to the

shooting, saying if he had the, if he had the, quote, opportunity to take out Kirk, quote,

I'm going to take it.
