A new audit from the Justice Department's Inspector General reveals ongoing failures

Three years after criticism over the handling of the Larry Nassar case, the report finds serious deficiencies in nearly 13% of 327 reviewed cases.

One involved a child abused for 15 months while the FBI failed to act.

Senator Dick Durbin called the report a stain on the FBI, accusing the Bureau of ignoring reforms

that were put in place to address this very issue.

In response to the report, the FBI pledges to uphold child safety as a solemn duty, but cites budget constraints as a challenge.

Calls are growing for Congress to step in and reform the FBI's child protection efforts.

Israel and Hamas have agreed to limited pauses in fighting to allow for polio vaccines to be given to children in Gaza.

The ceasefires come after a child contracted the viral disease, marking the first case in the region in over 25 years.

According to Israeli officials, the pauses will only be in designated areas.
