US investigators say they've arrested a 21-year-old man who they believe is linked to the leaking

of classified government documents.

He's been named as Jack Teixeira, a member of the intelligence wing of the US Air National

Guard.

Media reports said he was the head of an online group on which the documents first emerged.

It's been described as one of the worst ever security breaches of US intelligence.

Appentagons spokesman General Pat Ryder told journalists in Washington that the defense

department would be reviewing who should be given access to sensitive information.
