Wilkerson's Full Statement: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQOqmDgpHns/

First, my concern about child abuse from staff and volunteers at FBC is not fueled by “anger & malice against the Lord.”

More time in this statement was addressing the ones discussing molestation in the church than the man who was actually molesting children.

Second, you do not address a 20+ year member being arrested for child molestation by saying to the congregation who is unaware, “God bless you. That’s wonderful. Be simple to things that are evil.”

Instead, why don’t you - as a leader - ask parents to speak to their children?

Why don’t you give out the detective’s phone number so everyone knows who to go to?

This man had access to children in Sunday school classrooms and on bus routes for two decades - parents NEED to know that something could have happened and when.

Lastly, “God has helped us do the right thing time after time.” Why are there two negligence lawsuits against FBC Hammond in regards to child sexual abuse currently?
