And once again, on a Monday night, in about a half an hour, Manny Hill will join to pick the Vikings' final record.

And I can't imagine how high we're going with that final record now, that the Minnesota

Vikings are 11 and 2.

And we have now reached the point where absolutely nobody in the right mind, even the

biggest Sam Darnold believer ever would have thought that they would be at this

point in the season. But seeing the way that it played out was always the best case scenario.

I don't think we ever could have said best case scenario is these top three in the league

in passer rating and they're 11 and 2. All right, that would have been a little bit too far for even the biggest Sam

Darnold believer.

However, you know, I saw a lot of tweets the other day after Sam Darnold, yesterday,

after Sam Darnold had one of the best games in Vikings history.

And I saw, hey, this person didn't think that Sam Darnold was going to be any good.

And this person said it was a bad signing for the Vikings and let's all point laugh at them.

Now, if you go back here on the old Purple Insider show, the reason that I thought it was a good

signing when they added Sam Darnold was I

considered the other bridge quarterback options to get to JJ McCarthy.

And we all knew that they were going to draft the quarterback.

So I considered the other bridge options, which were Jacoby Berset or Ryan Tannehill or just guys with no upside whatsoever.

And my thought was that what the Vikings would be able to do with their supporting cast,

with their coach, with their wide receivers, with their offensive tackles, and even an
