up it's up it's the rant. My name is Jeff Radcliffe and

Thursday August 27th.

And a weird time for sure in the sports world, no doubt about it. It feels kind of weird to be talking about fantasy football right now with everything going on in the

NBA in particular and then also in MLB as I'm sure you're probably aware of listening to this

podcast on Thursday the the 27th, or later,

well, the NBA, I mean yesterday was sort of ground to a halt. The Bucks did not take the floor in game five so all and ended up we had all

game five's postponed there were multiple games in Major League Baseball postponed as well.

The Reds at Milwaukee, Seattle at San Diego,

and the Dodgers at San Francisco.

And well there has been talk even of some teams in the NBA

who want to just completely stop from here.

The two teams that seem to be at the forefront there are the Lakers and the Clippers.

Of course this all in response to the Jacob Blake shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

There is, you know, of course, in 2020, there is video of everything and there is video of this.

It is pretty disturbing to see and it's disturbing just to think about the world that we're in right

now.

And you know, again, it feels weird to talk about fantasy football on a day like this.

We will. It is my job to do so. We're coming up on a big fantasy draft weekend.

But you know, just in general, I mean, it obviously these athletes are in a position where, you know, hey, we idolize,

we look up to them, and they are making their voices heard.

It is time to listen to those voices it's time to understand the message and it's
