is an episode devoted to looking to the present and future as we consider current events

with the religious lens to see if they are favorite or forsaken. Joining me on this faith-based

journey, Jamie Golden, Max McCoy, how are you? Will today are you feeling favorite or

forsaken? Always favorite. Always waxed waxed in favorite. Okay, I love those. I mean,

most of those. I don't know what wax means honestly, but the others. You know what it means.

I don't think I do and I don't want to look into it. I'm not a fan of you. But the other

two. So this episode, we thought it would be timely to not only timely, but also there's

some personal attachments to this topic, both in our experiences, but also unknown attachments

that we'll reveal in this episode. We're going to talk about youth camps, summer camps,

the idea of church adjacent camp situations. Generally speaking, when someone says that word

to you or that concept to you, Jamie, what is your immediate, immediate gutter-own reaction?

I just think of a hot bunk bed in a college. Because you don't seem like a camp kind

of situation. You know, it's funny. It does combine some of my loves, which is meeting

new people and eating square pizza in a cafeteria. But then it's like, I'm also penthouse

Jamie, who is like, no, thank you. I don't want to sleep in a plastic mattress. But when

with a group of people in a room before you were penthouse Jamie, yeah, before that happened,

where you like, yeah, knew that you're bougie. Like you lived your bougie existence. I did.

I loved camp. I loved packing for camp. I loved meeting new people. It was like a place

for me to shine in a new way. I could put on a new personality. And maybe that would

be like, oh, should I keep that one? That was great too. I really did love camp.
