Now, I'm going to hit you with the recap of the previous episode,

then we'll dive right into the action. Last time, on Venture Maidens. Our Maidens compared

notes over brews at the local university pub. After sharing what they learned during their

downtime, they headed back to the chicken hut, but found the city streets

empty thanks to the curfews imposed by the new acting regent Melwyn Tavir. Sounds of a fight

drew our heroes down a nearby alley, where they came to the aid of a couple being harassed by

a gang of city guards, backed by a mysterious hulking, hooded figure.

The maidens made swift work of the thugs and their ally, who was revealed to be a chol,

a type of mercenary fiend. After leveling a threatening warning to the last surviving guard

and ensuring the couple got home safely, the crew swiftly left Phelan behind.

And that's what happened.
