Now, I'm going to hit you with the recap of the previous episode,

then we'll dive right into the action. Last time, on Venture Maidens. We dove right back

into the Blossom Sovereign's elaborate hex crawl. The Maidens came in swinging with a sticky

fight against some phased spiders. Thanks to Ifah's quick thinking and quick magic piping,

the party managed to save themselves and the spiders prey, a strange elf with metallic golden skin.

Their luck continued when they found a magical treehouse loaded up with fine wine and even finer maps

of the arena that revealed the location of the lotus dragon and a fountain

with mystical properties that could possibly cure Ravain, their petrified eldrin friend. After settling

in for the night, Lou determined the rescued elf was actually a disguised baby dragon named

Bud. Their young new friend gave some helpful advice about dealing with the dragons who guard the golden blossoms,

then said farewell as the party continued on their way towards the swamp where the ferocious lotus dragon dwells.

Along the way, they helped settle a dispute between the arena natives,

and they ended the episode with a curious conversation with the Blue Knight,

who seemed suspiciously friendly.

So our heroes quickly sent him packing.
