We're so happy you're here. We thought that since it's

kind of nearing the end of the year right now, we'd just kind of take a look back at the podcast world

in the last year and we could all share some favorites from the last year since I know a lot of us

like to listen to podcasts while we sew. I love listening to podcasts while I sew amongst other things.

So yeah, I wanted to start by just kind of talking about you guys and how did you start your

podcast? Can you tell us a little bit about that? It's a pretty cute story because Caroline had sent me

a text asking if I wanted to start a podcast. And I replied in all caps yes because we had just been

chatting about how there aren't enough sewing podcasts. Like we cannot get enough of the sewing podcast

content, especially when you are sewing. You want to be listening to sewing stuff. So it was just a

really exciting idea when she messaged me. And that was early days of my business, Helen's closet and

Blackbird Fabrics. So it was a really fun way for us to connect and get to interview people

in our industry and just a really exciting way for us to engage with the sewing community.

Yeah. At the time when I texted Helen, I was cutting a whole bunch of denim. I was spending days and days just

cutting denim and listening to podcasts. And there just wasn't a sewing podcast out there at the time that I
