Summary

Chris Gethard is a comedian based in New Jersey. He can be seen performing all over the world. He's the host of the podcast Beautiful/Anonymous, the author of a few books, one of which caught my attention and is the topic of our show today: Dad on Pills.

He wrote and starred in an HBO special called career suicide, which was highly popular back in 2007. He also hosts the podcast New Jersey is in the world, a celebration of his home state. And in June of 2021 comedy dynamics released Chris's new special Chris Gethard, half of my life, a hybrid tour documentary and stand up show shot in a variety of DIY spaces and independent venues all over the country.

He is a father and husband. I really enjoyed this conversation with Chris and I think you will as well.

quotes that I'm going to share with you and these were really, they hit me in the heart
